Joana Gelabert Galmés

I am an architect graduated at Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Barcelona School of Architecture since 2013.

 

In June 2011 I started working in Sebastià Berga’s studio after having collaborated in other architecture studios.

 

Together we started a new project called CONTRAFORT Arquitectura, incorporating knowledge about BIM programs and using social networks to invigorate, update and spread our work.

 

It is always accompanied by rigour when making projects, having the will to satisfy customers and following sustainability and energy efficiency rules in building construction. We think another construction way is possible and we want to offer healthy, sustainable and efficient houses to our customers.

 

For this reason in the last few years I have been educating in bioconstruction rules, techniques and materials, in order to offer a viable alternative in front of conventional construction.

 

I am a member of the Association for Bioconstruction in Balearic Islands since 2014.
